It has been known to draw out Swedish Didgeridoo players, flutists, singers, fiddlers and dancers of all kinds. Touring musicians have been known to pop in for set, or festival goers, trying their hand at sharing their gift.

Bantry Country Market is one of the most vibrant and oldest running markets in West Cork. Hosting an abundance of stalls selling a vast array of farm-fresh local produce that will make your mouth water.

There are also extensive bric a brac stalls, craft stalls and even buy a live chicken, sheep or goat.

The atmosphere is always buzzing at this market, it is one not to be missed!

Stalls set up from 8.30am until 1-2pm, depending on weather, so get down early.
