The 3 Day Holistic Miracle Course allows you to take a break in lovely West Cork. You are guaranteed to return home rejuvenated, more health-aware and with a stack of recipes to help you eat well for the rest of the year.
Get very excited about this class, as it is an opportunity to share so many West Cork treats. Over this weekend we will do yoga, acupuncture and have a in-depth chat with a nutritionist.
This class is back by popular demand and is the new-improved version with lots of holistic treats. You will make smoothies, salads, healthy fish dishes and even scones with seaweed. Like most of Good Things classes, this weekend will be budget cooking with good ingredients, so nothing is wasted.
Arrive on Friday for a late brunch at noon. You will then head to the shore with Sally McKenna, author of Extreme Greens, for a talk on seaweed, before taking a guided walk on the Sheep’s Head with a Good Things packed lunch.
On your return, dinner will be waiting for you. The next day you will start your day with a Good Things smoothie, followed by a yoga session.
After breakfast you will get stuck into cooking healthy dishes for lunch and dinner. During the day we will roll out the yoga mats again when Triona, our acupuncturist, will pay a visit and give a balancing treatment.
On Sunday, after breakfast, Carmel will demonstrate some dishes which we will have for a late lunch. Before this, though, April Dannan, an intuitive nutritionist will give you a talk on fermentation and demonstrate sourdough, vinegar and fermented drink making.
This class will be planned around each student’s dietary requirements, so if you eat for your blood type, do not have dairy, gluten or night shades, or if there are any other foods that you feel do not agree with you, please let us know.
