Ahakista Guided Walk @ Ahakista | Ahakista | County Cork | Ireland

Take a guided walk in Ahakista with Charlie McCarthy of Hillside Walking Tours

During the walk along the renowned Sheep’s Head Way walking route, Charlie will share his extensive local knowledge of the area and the historical sites along the way. The walk will take in the Ahakista Stone Circle as well as an ancient ring fort. It’s an excellent way to learn about how the generations before us used stone to make their mark on the landscape of the Sheep’s Head peninsula.

This is a great day out for all the family. Please bring suitable footwear and a rain jacket in case the weather turns against us!

Booking Details

Book online here (€5.75 per adult, inc booking fee) or pay on the day (€5). All walkers will need to register on the day so that we can confirm safety details.
We’ll meet at The Cabin, Ahakista. Registration will begin at 11.30am and the walk will commence at 12 midday. The walk will take approximately 2.5 hours.

For more details, contact Charlie McCarthy 086 233 3420.
