Activities What's On Yoga

The stage is set Perfectly to fall into Yoga and Meditation; Bantry will be a town Immersed in Yoga

Hemmed in by high mountain ridges, an azure blue sea and cascading mountain streams, it is a place of unparalleled beauty where the landscape changes with every mood of wind and sky In this breath-taking splendour of mountain scenery, hilly pastures, meandering streams, lakes and woods, where megalithic monuments and ruins of monastic settlements dot the countryside, visitors can find peace and tranquillity.

While most of our venues are in town we are uber thrilled to have the pleasure of holding classes and sessions in the East stables of Bantry House. The entrance is just off the square and you walk a tree lined avenue to the 18th-century house, sitting in magnificent gardens and overlooking the bay. A venue like this is pretty special.

There will be local guided walks, dancing on the square and music in the pubs as well as chill out zones and something special on the Sunday (we may be taking over an island!).

Registration will be on Friday at Bantry Tourist office. Friday is a great day in Bantry with the Market, one of the largest in the country, filling the centre of town and the surrounding streets and car parks. It’s worth making an effort to get here early.
