Enjoy a free stone carving demonstration by local carver Victor Daly!

Victor Daly is a time served stone cutter with over 20 years experience of stone working in Ireland and abroad. Join him at The Old Creamery, Kilcrohane, to catch a glimpse into this ancient art.

More about Victor Daly

Victor is an experienced stone carver and is highly skilled in the traditional mallet and chisel methods. Mallet and chisel method are quite old and have been relied on by stone-cutters for centuries.Victor has worked on a wide range of commercial, bespoke and conservation projects. He specialises in letter-carving, abstract sculpture, and restoration work. To ensure a future for this ancient craft, he also offers stone-carving courses at his workshop on West Cork’s beautiful Sheep’s Head peninsula. Click here to find out more!
