Felt from the half-day feltmaking workshop

Learn the wet felting technique in a Half-day Felting Workshop wiht Christina Jasmin Roser on the Sheep’s Head peninsula

Christina – a renowned felt artist who draws inspiration from the wild land and seascapes of the Sheep’s Head peninsula – will introduce you to the wet felting technique and show you how to create a beautiful textured panel using different colours, types of fibres, and gorgeous fabrics.

At the end of your “quick-fix” feltmaking workshop, you will be going home with a decorative piece which you can leave as it is. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, with the help of a couple of stitches, you can turn your piece of Sheep’s Head felt into a beautiful cover for a book or cushion.

Where better to learn about turning fleece to felt than the Sheep’s Head peninsula in West Cork?

Cost

€50 per person for the workshop which will run from 12pm to, approximately, 3:30pm. This includes all of the materials you’ll use on the day.

Dates Available:

Saturday 19th March 2016
Saturday 30th April 2016
Saturday 21st May 2016

Alternatively, arrange another date that suits the needs of your group. Please contact Christina to book a date, or if you have any questions or need more information.
