Bantry Festivals Food Taste of West Cork Festival 2017 What's On

West Cork Food is on the menu at BIA in Bantry!

BIA Restaurant at The Bantry Bay Hotel is hosting a pairing evening featuring West Cork food and craft beers and ciders from around County Cork. Head Chef Gilles Eynaud has created an exciting menu designed to complement wonderful, locally produced craft beers and ciders. Featured beers will include the Mountain Man Brewing Company. Founded in 2012 by Phil and Sue Cullen, this was West Cork’s first entry to the Irish craft beer scene. Phil will be on hand to guide you through the evening with details about the brewing process. Topics covered include how Mountain Man Brewery came to be, the difference between all the craft beers on the market and how best to pair craft beer with different dishes.

Phil is a font of knowledge relating to all things craft beer and you will be amazed at what you learn while enjoying the creative menu put together by the BIA team. Meet the producers behind the products, taste the best local produce, and sample the best local beers and ciders.

Booking is essential as numbers are limited! This event is part of the ‘A Taste of West Cork’ food festival.
