Visit Whiddy Island for a very special carol concert in aid of the Bantry Hospice Project on 4th December 2016.
The choir of Cappabue National School will perform Christmas carols and songs, before being joined by local musicians around our outdoor crib and Christmas tree.
The event is organised by the Whiddy Island Development Association. We will be raffling a luxury Christmas hamper at the carol service, and raffle tickets will be available locally and at the event.
All proceeds from the raffle and the €5 ferry ticket will go directly to the Bantry Hospice Project, Cork Arc Support House, and Cancer Connect.
The event will also feature a head and beard shave featuring Tim O’Leary!
Come to the Whiddy Christmas Carol Concert, and show your support for this great local cause which helps people and their families in their time of greatest need.
Boats will run from lunchtime to 5pm on the day from Bantry Pier. The Christmas Carol Concert will be an outdoor event, so please be prepared for bad weather.
