We’re making our plans for the future of tourism on the Sheep’s Head Way and we’d love to hear your ideas

The real strength of the Sheep’s Head Way – since the walk was established in the late 1990s – has been the power and depth of community collaboration here. Building on that, and working towards the future, we’re launching a consultation process online to gather ideas and help us form our plans for our next phase.

Have your say by filling in the form below!

We’ll be holding meetings with local community groups and open meetings too, so that we can develop ideas and projects that are genuinely community-led. It’s only through this kind of process that we can develop the kind of tourism that works well for communities, and for our environment, as well as for the visitors we’re seeking to attract.

We’d be delighted too if you’d join our Sheep’s Head & Bantry Tourism Co-operative: for just €100 per year, you can make a contribution to the marketing of our area and call on our support as you develop your own responsible tourism initiatives along the Sheep’s Head Way.
