Sheila’s Place

January 12, 2014 by Dunmanus

Sheila’s Place on the Sheep’s Head is a great venue for group activities of all sorts!

It’s available for hire as a memorable and practical activity space in West Cork, and it adds Wild Atlantic Way appeal to the holiday your guests will enjoy.

Sheila’s place has played host to yoga retreats, walking weekends, and even swing dancing events.

It comprises two stone buildings attached with a further stables conversion creating a wonderful courtyard and 3 separate yet adjoining buildings. Two full kitchens allow guests to make a cup of tea or even a dinner themselves if they so choose. We will be happy to help you with all accommodation and catering arrangements.

Sheila can help you research and plan activities around your core event that make the most of the beautiful setting here on The Sheep’s Head peninsula with its rich network of walking and cycling trails. Bikes are available for hire locally, and unique attractions like half-day sails on Dunmanus Bay can also be arranged to add a bit of extra magic to the package you are putting together.

Contact Sheila to find out about hiring the venue for your own group activities or tours. (The video below shows you a ‘Sheila’s Place’ retreat in progress!)

An initial basic package of €50 per person (including breakfast and lunch) is available, and your guests will have the option to eat out at one of the local restaurants, or to eat here at Sheila’s Place for an extra €15 per person per dinner (arranged at time of booking. Dietary requirements can be catered for.)
