The house is situated ten miles west of Bantry town in a quiet location halfway between Durrus and Ahakista. It is set in 4 acres of grounds, some lawned, and others kept as fields and rough pasture with ponds as a nature trail.
Carbery Guest Lodge is a pet-friendly, but pets must be kept under strict control at all times. There are ducks, chickens, ponies and a goat within the lovely grounds.
The house has views over Dunmanus Bay and the Mizen Head, and it is only 0.5 miles from the sea. It’s an ideal base for walking the Sheep’s Head Way and it’s loop routes.
