If you are looking for a great night of entertainment in Bantry, The Mariner is the place for you

Centrally located on The Quay and Wolfe Tone Square in Bantry it’s a great place to catch up with local bands and nationally renowned acts.

Our intimate bar and music venue plays host to a wide variety of music to suit one and all. Over the last number of years we have hosted some great acts including Liam O’Maonlaoi , Cathy Davy , Don Baker , Mick Flannery, John Spillane, Damien Dempsey, Luka Bloom, Eric Bell and more recently Declan O’Rourke and Hermitage Green.

We also offer local musicians a place to showcase their talent from jazz to rock, from traditional Irish to contemporary folk, singer-songwriters to 7-piece bands. A night out at The Mariner will always guarantee great music.

The Mariner has a fully-licensed bar and features local craft beers such as Franciscan Well Brewery’s Rebel Red brewed in Cork as well as spirits, whiskey and Scotch and of course a pint of the Black Stuff. Our friendly staff are ready to serve you, so make sure to call in and see what great entertainment we have lined up for you.

The Mariner is also available to book for private parties. With a capacity up to 150 people we host surprise parties, birthdays, weddings, communions and confirmations. It is an ideal intimate venue whatever the age group or occasion. With a wide variety of catering options available to suit all tastes and budgets call 027 52501 to find out about what’s on, or to book your next party.
